Gig at Bath Place - Saturday 23rd September

15.09.2006

The first of many official Pillar Box Records gig nights is taking place at this Saturday (23rd). Here’s some reasons why you should come:

It’s a gig with great signed band in Leamington - guys this established just don't normally come to Leamington
Amazing local artists too

It’ll be a great night out – these are all fantastic entertainers and musicians
Here’s some more on the bands:

The Dials – www.thedails.co.uk

"The Dials have recorded two of my favourite songs this year. If I had a record label I’d sign them."
Mark Lamarr, BBC Radio

"Really, really good"
Dave Henderson, Mojo

The Dials have also won the FOPP Award for New Music.

Si Hayden – www.sihayden.com

"Coventry’s Si Hayden simply blew us away with his intricate finger skills"
(BBC C&W)

"Si Hayden left members of the audience in wonder of how anyone could deliver such harmony and rhythms of complexity using a six string, steel strung acoustic guitar"
(Alvin Leon/AQT)

Kristy Gallacher – www.kristygallacher.com

Kristy Gallacher has a fantastic voice and a fantastic collection of songs - all brusied,
streetwise defiance. Singing in a voice like crushed petals she managed to do what the very best songwriters do - let you glimpse her soul and see yourself reflected in its surface."

Jack - The Bomb Factory

"A truly sensational talent."
Ben Turner BBC West Midlands Radio - Birmingham

Doors are at 7 and it’s £7 on the door, get there early to make sure you get in.
